Join the movement to end hunger
In September 2025, Ford launched the Great Ford Dealer Food Drive, a global initiative designed to leverage our collective strength and innovation around the world to alleviate hunger.
The results speak for themselves: together with our Charity Partners, Ford customers came together and donated across 31 markets, impacting an estimated 1.7 million lives. This year, our goal is simple: bigger and better!
We’re inviting you, our valued customers, to join Dinnages from 14th September - 5th October in gathering food and essential non-perishable items for those in need, on behalf of FareShare Sussex & Surrey.
FareShare Sussex & Surrey are part of the Felix network, rescuing good quality surplus food that would otherwise go to waste and redistributing it to charities and community organisations across Sussex and Surrey. The food received supports a wide range of organisations, including community kitchens, food banks, schools, breakfast clubs, shelters and other local projects, providing meals and support for people who may be experiencing food insecurity.
What food can you donate?
We'd really welcome long-life, ambient and unopened food:
- Tinned vegetables, fruit, beans, pulses and soups
- Pasta, rice and noodles
- Cereals and porridge
- Tinned meat and fish
- Jars of sauces and cooking ingredients
- Tea, coffee and hot chocolate
- Biscuits and other long-life snacks
- Long-life milk and dairy alternatives
- Dried foods such as lentils, chickpeas & couscous
Every donation, big or small, can help turn surplus food into meals and make a real difference to people across our local community.
