Ford Transit Minibus available at Brighton
Style and design
The focus of the Ford Transit Minibus is, of course, space. With a choice of nine, 14 or 17 seats, and all options offering a great amount of head and leg room for all passengers, this is the number one choice when it comes to ferrying people safely and comfortably from A to B. Despite its size, the Transit Minibus is surprisingly elegant in appearance, with long lines running the full length of the side panels, and high windows for great driver and passenger visibility and maximum natural light.
Engines and performance
All engines across the range meet stringent Euro Stage V emissions standards and power the three choices of front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive and diesel front-wheel drive. The first of these three has a lower floor to allow for easy entry and exit, and is available on the nine-seater shuttle bus. The rear-wheel drive is more suited to larger loads and is available on the 14 and 17-seater models.
As well as a choice of multiple seat configurations, the Transit Minibus has a 2,200-litre caged load space (nine-seater option) as well as a comprehensive security and technology package that means your vehicle will be as secure as possible.
As with all of Ford’s commercial vehicles, the Minibus comes with ESP, ABS and EBA as standard. It also has hill start assist, which ensures there’s no roll-back should you have to start on a slope. Cruise control, advanced automatic headlights with large lenses for great illumination, and other safety and security features can also found as standard across the range.
