Dinnages COVID-19 Statement

UPDATE (03/11/20)

Following the announcement of re-introduction of lockdown measures in England, we would like to advise you on the steps that Dinnages are taking to fully support the latest Government guidelines and our customers.

From Thursday 5th November and until the lockdown measures are reviewed we plan to remain open for servicing, MOT and repairs both mechanical and body repair.

Regarding car sales, we will continue handling enquiries through the phone, email or live chat. However, our showrooms will be closed until current restrictions are lifted.

We have completed risk assessments for our business and have fully COVID-compliant processes initiated to protect staff and customers.

Update (28/05/20)

As we continue to follow the Government's guidelines regarding COVID-19 and the most recent announcement regarding car showrooms, Dinnages are pleased to be reopening our sales showrooms from 1st June. We have been working hard to prepare our showrooms for our customers’ return, with new health & safety and social distancing measures in place. Our Accident Repair Centre and service departments will also go back to their usual opening hours. Dinnages Burgess Hill however currently remains closed for both sales and service. We've made some adjustments to our showrooms to cater for the recommended 2m guidelines for social distancing. A member of our team will be on hand to guide you when you arrive.

Protective screens are in place where needed and our team have access to the PPE that they need when dealing with vehicles. You will also find hand sanitiser located around the showrooms.

A more thorough and updated cleaning routine ensures that we can provide the safest environment for both our customers and staff.

Contactless Payments

We encourage all our customers to use cashless payment, such as bank transfer, credit/debit card and/or contactless. Card machines are disinfected after each use.

Management are monitoring their teams and should any member of staff feel unwell and display COVID-19 symptoms they will be asked to self isolate for the appropriate advised time.

We are following all Government advice. Clearly hygiene is paramount and the management team are fully understanding of the necessity for all colleagues to be regularly washing hands and wearing latex gloves where applicable. Customers may also be provided with latex gloves if preferred.

We are committed to do all we can to continue selling cars and parts and servicing and repairing your cars when we can during this time.

Finally, as we are all very aware, this is a rapidly changing situation. As we continue to follow developing Government advice, we will update this statement letting you know of any changes that we may need to make.
