Dinnages Renault are delighted to announce that the RenaultSport range picked up a hat-trick of prizes at the ‘What Car?’ awards show on Thursday 13th January. This is the second year in a row of triple awards for the Renault Sport range following an unprecedented hot-hatch triple win at the 2010 ‘What Car?’ awards.

Best Hot Hatch - Second Year Running

Despite a wealth of new and revised vehicles in each of the categories, the Renault Sport triumphed in the categories of ‘Best Hot Hatch’ as well as Best Hot Hatch in the £15,000-£20,000 category as well as the under £15,000 category.

The Mégane Renaultsport 250 Cup retained its hard-earned crown of ‘Best Hot Hatch’ for the second year in a row. Its smaller, but equally desirable brother, the Clio Renaultsport 200 Cup also retained the accolade in the £15,000 to £20,000 section. The baby of the RenaultSport range, the new Twingo Renaultsport 133 Cup, also triumphed taking the prize in the under £15,000 category.

‘What Car?’ magazine Editor-in-chief, Steve Fowler, commented: “for the second year in a row the RenaultSport range has dominated the hot hatch category and the Mégane Renaultsport 250 Cup has won our Best Hot Hatch Award for a second year running.
