The Renault Raider name has returned, in the form of the new Renault Clio Sport 200. The Raider name was last used for the final edition Renault 5GT Turbo. What better name to evoke the subtle, yet aggressive presence of the range-topping Limited Edition, the first Renault to feature matt paint?
The Clio Renaultsport 200 Raider goes on sale imminently, and will be a highly exclusive and sought after model, with only 50 being sold in the UK.
The matt exterior look is real paint and not a wrap. The engineers at the Alpine Renaultsport factory in Dieppe have developed a choice of two stunning Renault i.d. colours, Stealth Grey or Diavolo Red.Raider is the first incarnation of Clio Renaultsport 200 to feature 18" alloy wheels, too. With lower Cup Chassis as standard, the Raider's black 18" 'Interlagos' alloy wheels give it a truly aggressive stance and, shod in Bridgestone Potenza RE 050A tyres, grip levels are also increased. A gloss black roof, rear spoiler, F1-style front blade, rear diffuser and door mirrors complete the look.
Over and above the standard Renaultsport 200 version on which it's based, the Raider adds luxurious leather Recaro seats, leather rear seats and a no-cost choice of either Renaultsport Monitor - Renaultsport's on-board performance telemetry system - or Carminat TomTom Live satellite navigation as standard.
