Dinnages Team Up with Jupp’s Fish & Chips for Local School
Dinnages car dealers in Sussex realise the importance of the local community and are always looking for new ways to give something back. So when the opportunity to donate a number of sports kits to Southway School in Burgess Hill came up, Dinnages were delighted to be involved.
The Dinnages Ford dealership in Haywards Heath and Jupp’s Fish & Chip Shop teamed up to donate a number of sports products to Southway School in Burgess Hill. It is hoped that the new sports products will help to encourage active, healthy lifestyles. Representatives from each of the businesses arrived at the school to present the new sports kit to the pupils during an assembly.
Headteacher at Southway School in Burgess Hill, Dinah Goss said: “It’s so important for children to have the opportunity to get involved in team sports, so this new kit is a great incentive for them to get active! We are really grateful to both local businesses for this contribution to the local community which is much appreciated by staff and pupils alike.”
Marc Coxshaw from Dinnages and Martyn Jupp represented Jupp’s Fish and Chip Shop. The trio were overwhelmed by the reactions from the children when they donated the new football shirts, netball gear and other general kit for their PE lessons.
Marc Coxshaw, said: “We thoroughly enjoyed going back to school and seeing the children’s faces when the kit was handed over. It’s wonderful to have the opportunity to do something useful in the local community.”
Jupp’s Fish and Chip Shop is renowned locally for producing one of the tastiest take-away meals within the local area. They pride themselves on using the highest quality produce that the market offers. Martyn Jupp explains that their work motto is "only sell what you would eat or give to any of the family".
Dinnages would like to hold this motto close to their business as they pride themselves on similar values. The car dealers in Sussex represent Ford, Ford commercial and Renault. Dinnages offer an extensive range of new and used cars in Sussex and were proud to be involved in giving something back to their local community.
